Current opening hours of the Arosa Bear Sanctuary.

Winter 2021/22 (4.12.2021 - 18.04.2022)

The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is open on Thursdays.

  • From 9 December until 14 April every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm
  • The Experience Trail to "Innerarosa" are open
  • Private tours are after consultation with the animal keepers possible
  • Operating hours of the Arosa-Weisshorn aerial cableway
  • The Adventure Path remains closed during wintertime
     

Ascension Day (26.05.2021 - 29.05.2021)

open from 10 am to 3 pm

Please note: Only the Arosa Bear Sanctuary is open, the mountain railways and mountain restaurants remain closed. You can reach the Arosa Bear Sanctuary by the following trails: 

Short: From the bus stop Prätschli via Arlenwaldweg
Adventourous: From the train station via Squirrel Trail, Maran and Prätschli
Educational: Bear Sanctuary Experience Trail from Innerarosa via Bergkirchli, Tschuggenhütte
 

Whitsun (4.06.2021 - 6.06.2021)

open from 10 am to 3 pm

Pre-Summer Weekends 

The opening hours in spring 2022 depend on the snow situation and the end of the winter hibernation. It can be decided at short notice whether the Arosa Bear Sanctuary will also be open outside the weekends defined above. 

Summer  (11.06. - 23.10.2022)

The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is open from 11 June to 23 October 2022

Informations for the visit

Covid-19: There is a covid certificate required (recovered or vaccinated). Masks are compulsory for every visitor. 

Wheelchair: The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible.

Dogs: On a leash, four-legged friends are welcome! (Except adventure path)

Tickets: Tickets can be booked on site or online. (Winter on site only)
