Current opening hours of the Arosa Bear Sanctuary.
Mid-Season
12 April to 7 June 2024
The Arosa Bärenland will remain closed during this time.
Exceptions are the Ascension weekend, the Whitsun weekend and two additional weekends.
The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is open for you on the days listed below.
Ascension weekend
9 May to 12 May 2024
Open to the public:
Every day from 10 a.m to 4 p.m
The mountain railways and restaurants are closed on these days. Arosa Bear Sanctuary can be reached on foot via the following routes:
- For the tasty one: On foot from the "Prätschli" bus stop along the Ricola adventure trail.
- For the adventurous one: From the train station via "Eichhörnliweg", "Maran" and "Prätschli"
Whitsun weekend
18 May to 20 May 2024
The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is open from 10 a.m to 4 p.m
Arosa-Weisshorn cable car is not in operation.
Mid-Season
25 & 26 May, 1 & 2 June 2024
The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is open at weekends from 10 a.m to 4 p.m

Summer
8 June to 20 October 2024
- Open daily from 9 a.m to 5.20 p.m (Attention: last gondola ride down to the valley at 5.40 p.m.)
- Adventure Path, Playground, Bear-Minigolf and the Experience Trail to "Innerarosa" are open
Informations for the visit
Wheelchair: The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible.
Dogs: On a leash, four-legged friends are welcome! (Except adventure path)
Tickets: Tickets can be booked on site or online. (Winter on site only)
